It was a patriotic party to celebrate our nation’s birthday. The Halsey Gala is an annual event that benefits the Southampton Historical Museum and its education programs and this year it was held on the grounds of the 1680 Thomas Halsey Homestead.
Our 24 Round Blue Star Sperry Tent livened up the historic gardens and complemented the evening’s red-white-and-blue theme. Schmidt’s Market provided the hors d’oeuvres, Design House handled the decorations, and Lynch’s Garden Center managed the greenery. There was even a special visit by a revolutionary war militia – specifically Captain Hulbert’s Company (3rd New York Regiment).
